Being upside down
gives us a new perspective and lots of confidence.
By practicing asana that develop core strength and
arm mobility, we learn to trust in our strength that
is needed for handstand, elbow balance, headstand
and shoulderstand.
Kari studied extensively with the late Roger Eischens while living at his communal farm is Cress Springs, Wisconsin. Since that time, she has developed her own unique style, compassionate and light-hearted with clear and careful explanations and demonstrations. Kari’s workshops offer tremendous opportunities to refine your yoga practice while having fun. We are pleased that Kari is back for her sixth consecutive year at Oak Park Yoga. About the teacher Kari Tomashik masterfully weaves into her teaching the great therapeutic and energetic work of her mentor, the late Roger Eischens.
